Summary of Position

Manages all aspects of the shipping and receiving process including the overall appearance and organization of the back room area of the store. Is responsible for all aspects of shipping and receiving as well as communications with the buying office and merchandise control. Shares responsibility with the management team in regards to damages, singles, and merchandise back stock. Assist with customer service as required.

Duties and Responsibility

• Inventory Control responsibilities to include adherence to all policies and procedures in regards to: Shipping and Receiving
  Accurately labeling all merchandise Maintaining neat and accurate records Markdown of Merchandise
  Physical Inventory
  Handling and processing Singles and Damages/RTV's
• Loss Prevention responsibilities to include adherence to all policies and procedures in regards to:
  Protection and control of all Company assets
  Training of all store associates on loss prevention practices, skills and standards as they relate to back room operations.
• Back Room organization with special emphasis on the following:
  Merchandise Back Stock
  Singles and Mis-mates Damages
  Supplies

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong organizational skills
Good interpersonal skills necessary to interact with customers and store personnel Thorough understanding of shoe size and width structure
Basic visual merchandising skills
Basic knowledge of footwear, handbags, and accessories
Knowledge of Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse policies and procedures Basic math, verbal and written communication skills.
